To our surprise, we couldn’t find any mink gloves online or at fur shops, and our local furrier wanted $450 to make a custom one. So we took the plunge, designed a couple of mink gloves and gave one to a good friend for his wedding gift. It was a smashing success. Friends and then friends of friends started asking for gloves in chinchilla, fox, rex rabbit, sable and – voila! – MinkgLove.com was born.
